Folksy Friday Peacock

As I've just finished my first peacock inspired piece of jewellery I thought I'd do a Folksy Friday about all things Peacock Feathery...

Clockwork Peacock Pendant by Miss Pollys Handmade Jewellery

Beautiful Pendant by Owl Loves Panda

Peacock Pendant by Larios

Stunning Peacock Fascinator by Talulah Blue

First Feedback

I've received my first feedback- It was from the two winners of my competition but it was lovely to get someone's thoughts on what I make. Very nice to hear positive things.

Facebook feedback

All my jewellery is now currently with my lovely cousin who is photographing it for me. I hope it means that I suddenly get an order! We're still housebound because of the lurgy so it means I should have lots of time to make more things. Never quite works like that though

Peacock Cuff - Finished

This is my latest project now finished. I've counted over 30 different colour beads, of which almost all are Swarovski crystals. I don't think I could make this again even if I wanted to as some of the beads are no longer available to buy! I love it. It weighs a lot too

Next Project

After I've made the competition winner's bracelet this is my next project. Its a peacock feather inspired cuff and I can't wait to make it- not sure I'll want to sell it once it's finished though. I need to work out all the colours of beads first- to make sure they look as gorgeous as the real thing. I've just got lots of beautiful gold and silver beads which will look amazing in this

thank you!

Have featured in another blog

and the winner is...

Last night my first facebook competition ended at 10pm. Obviously I was sound asleep at this point so the high-tech draw was made this morning.

The draw master was a little reluctant to start with.

The winners were:
Faridah Brooker for the main prize and
Lynn Doe for having the most references

Thank you to everyone who entered and I will be running another competition soon so watch this space
